Speaking to Bloomingdale High School FBLA Students
Social Spark recently had the opportunity to speak with senior students from Bloomingdale High School’s Florida Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter, sharing insights into entrepreneurship, higher education, and the realities of running a marketing business. The conversation covered a wide range of topics, offering students a transparent look into both the challenges and rewards of building a business from the ground up.
Students came prepared with thoughtful and insightful questions, diving into subjects such as profit margins, the evolving role of AI in marketing, and how to break into the industry. Additional discussions explored target audiences, business strategy, and effective sales approaches, highlighting the students’ strong curiosity and forward-thinking mindset.
The experience held special significance, as Cierra is a graduate of Hillsborough County Public Schools, making the visit a meaningful full-circle moment. Connecting with future graduates of the same school system underscored Social Spark’s commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders. The team believes strongly in sharing knowledge, encouraging young professionals, and creating space for open dialogue about career paths and opportunities. Engaging with such motivated students was both energizing and inspiring, reinforcing the importance of mentorship and community connection.
